Assessments against Principles
Since 2013, the Bank has conducted assessments of the Reserve Bank Information and Transfer System (RITS) against the Principles for Financial Market Infrastructures (Principles) on an annual basis. The most recent assessment was published in 2015. Prior to 2013, the Bank had periodically conducted self-assessments of RITS against the Core principles for systemically important payment systems, which are international standards that the Principles replaced.
The Bank, together with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, periodically assesses the ASX clearing and settlement facilities against the Principles. The most recent assessment was completed in September 2014.
