Ben currently works as a Senior Manager in the Economic Analysis Department, leading a team that focuses on monitoring international economic conditions. He was previously a member of the Frameworks and Macroeconomics team in the Bank’s Research Department, where he primarily worked on quantifying and understanding the channels through which monetary policy operates. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Freie University Berlin and a Masters in Quantitative Economics from Kiel University, Germany.
