Claude is deputy head of Financial Stability. Before joining the RBA in 2023, she was Chief Research Officer and head of the research department at the Milken Institute, leading work in international finance (systemic risk, financial stability, ESG investing, technology), health economics (public risks, disparities), and regional economics (regional competitiveness, innovation). Prior to that, she held roles combining research and management at the Banque de France and was professor of Economics at the University of Cincinnati.
