Marnie Baker has 35 years’ experience in the financial services sector, with a focus on retail banking and funds management. She recently served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank and Deputy Chair of the Australian Banking Association. Ms Baker has a deep understanding of Australia’s financial system, including from a regional perspective. Ms Baker has been a member of the Business Council of Australia and has served on several public and private boards, including the Mastercard (Asia Pacific) Advisory Board and the inaugural NPP Australia Board. Ms Baker actively contributes to her local community through roles on various local committees and boards, including La Trobe University’s Bendigo Regional Advisory Board, and is a member of Corporate Executive Women. She is a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. Ms Baker is a signatory to The Banking and Finance Oath.
