The Reserve Bank of Australia has a 50 per cent share in Securency Pty Ltd, which is incorporated in Victoria Australia, and whose principal activity is the marketing and manufacture of polymer substrate. The capital of Securency in 1999/2000 was $21,530,001; the RBA's investment in Securency was $11,183,000 (1999 – $10,765,000). Securency Pty Ltd has a 31 December balance date.
