    In 2022 and 2023, the Reserve Bank undertook a program of work to ensure access to the RITS User Interface remains secure and uses up-to-date versions of hardware, software and security protocols.

    Members are now able to access RITS using either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, and a browser extension. RITS no longer uses Java Runtime Environment. Legacy hardware security tokens were replaced with current model tokens.
