Of full-time employees, those who graduated with a bachelor degree in the field of economics earned, on average, the third highest level of income in 2016 (around $80 000 per year). Engineering and information technology graduates had the highest and second highest level of earnings respectively. Fields of study with lower average earnings than economics were: architecture & building, management & commerce, health, society & culture, agriculture & environment, science, education, creative arts, and hospitality & personal services.
