Total remuneration received or due and receivable by these executives amounted to $4.929 million ($4.421 million in 1992/93). Remuneration is now measured on the basis of the clarification issued on 22 June 1994 by the Australian Securities Commission and includes cash salary, the Bank's contribution to superannuation, housing assistance, motor vehicles, health insurance and other benefits subject to Fringe Benefits Tax. The corresponding table in previous Annual Reports was prepared on a basis which did not include superannuation contributions and some other items.
