This includes net amounts of $710.4 million owed by the Bank for overnight clearances of financial transactions through the clearing houses, Austraclear and Reserve Bank Information and Transfer System (RITS). (An amount of $608.0 million was owed by the Bank at 30 June 1993.) It also includes interest accrued of $12.7 million ($0.5 million at 30 June 1993) on deposits of banks.
