The Museum was established to educate visitors about Australia's banknotes and the role of the Reserve Bank over time. It does this by telling the story of the Reserve Bank, and Australia's banknotes, against the background of the nation's economic and social development, from colonial settlement through to today. The Museum features a number of displays and exhibitions that can be viewed by visiting at the Reserve Bank or by visiting the Museum website.

For more information, please see the Museum website.
