This liability represents the IMF special drawing rights allocated to Australia and transferred to the Bank by the Commonwealth, less net charges of the IMF payable by the Commonwealth which have been debited to this account. At 30 June 1986 the item related to 214,451,521 special drawing rights (229,688,106 special drawing rights at 30 June 1985) and was translated to Australian dollars at rates of exchange current at that date.
