This includes amounts due to the Bank from cheque clearings with other banks (overnight settlements) and Austraclear of $300.9 million ($425.0 million at 30 June 1988); items in transit totalling $152.7 million ($208.4 million at 30 June 1988) between branches of the Bank in respect of cheques drawn on one branch and presented for payment at another; and other bills receivable totalling $0.2 million ($0.2 million at 30 June 1988).
